It’s very rare of me that I get a day off from work, but when I do I love to explore new and different places. SoCal has been gloomy lately and once the weather has finally cleared up my boo and I decided to check out The Deck in Laguna Beach. It was definitely a lovely day to take some photos and grab a quick lunch!

I had JUST received my package from ColourPop cosmetics and decided to try on the new lippie stick. I am wearing the Brink lipliner and the lippie stick and it is just an amazing color that you can wear out to anything really.

Mmmmmmm lets talk FOOD. The Deck is located on 627 Sleepy Hollow Ln in Laguna Beach- just along the shore where you can feel the mist in the air from the ocean breeze while enjoying your cocktail & pasta. You can also park in their valet parking and look around the beach after enjoying your lunch, which is a plus!

We decided to try their Tuna Poke, New England Clam Chowder, & Strozzapreti Pasta with Baja Wild Shrimp. The Tuna Poke is very lightly marinated with a refreshing taste that you get from the cucumbers it gets your taste buds ready for your entree. I am a big fan of soups, so any places that I go I have to try at least some type of soup. The New English Clam Chowder is creamy and light as well which compliments all the other appetizers too!

My main entree– Strozzapreti Pasta with Baja Wild Shrimp just topped it all off. Sauce reminded me of half tomato, half fettuccine taste where it gave it a very creamy taste with a ton of flavors. It wasn’t to the point where I was overwhelmed with taste, and they put just enough shrimp to fill me up! The food, atmosphere, and the services was off the point and I definitely would come back real soon to have more lunch at this place 🙂 two thumbs up for sure.

Having a day off is always awesome, getting to know new places and finding out about new tastes. Can’t wait for what else is waiting for me out there ! Until next time, FF.
