Healthy Skin, Healthy Me <3

Trying to be that “someone,” or trying to look like what is in now may be something that we often look for each day. Taking care of what we look like on the outside may be important, but taking care of what is beneath is more important. Behind that make-up, behind what is truly yours needs to be taken care of and that is something that I enjoy as well. So in this blog I want to share with you guys on how I take care of my stressed skin 🙂

Here are some products that I use- after taking off my make up (WARNING: my bare face will be shown xD )

as “Foodie On Fleek,” I absolutely LOVE the idea of mixing food with beauty products, just like this one here.

This one here is called “Mask of Magnaminty,” from Lush. What I love about Lush is that everything here is organic and freshly handmade. I can trust to use these products because they won’t have any harsh chemicals that will harm your skin! How to apply is- after you wash your face, you would wet your face a tiny bit to give a little moisture and apply the mask onto your skin. You let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, sometimes even longer. I like to keep it on for awhile because it feels weird when it hardens on your face… hahah

Next, I apply some bubble gum lip scrub from Lush to give my lips some therapy as well:

This little guy here makes your lips soft AND this stuff is EDIBLE!!! you simply apply the sandy-textured-bubblegum-flavored product on  your lips, move it around a bit and … literally lick it off… or you can wash it off too xD

Now, after the mask hardens on  your face then it’s time to take it off. I usually take a shower after so that I know I’m getting all the little particles off from my face and hairline. Also you feel even more fresh getting out of the shower after giving your face a little therapy!

Again… I have warned you guys about my no-make up face!!!!

Skin therapy doesn’t stop here though, next is giving a little mist on your skin with Nature Republic’s Baobob Mist.  Baobob may not be food… but it reminds me of the Little Prince, and it feels SO refreshing!

Last step is applying some aloe on your face. I know aloe is known to be used for sun burns, but your skin is exposed to the sun almost every day, you need to treat it with love. A little bit of aloe does not hurt every day and it gives your face moisture that it is needed!

The product I use is Nature Republic’s 92% Aloe Vera. This stuff is amazing you guys and after using it a couple days, you can really feel the moisture that your skin was deprived of!

So there you have it. This is how I spoil my skin 🙂 Sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself out for the looks, but it’s ALWAYS nice and important to keep what is really you beautiful.

Happy skin therapy!
