Hey guys! This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit Kimpton The Rowan Palm Springs! This beautiful hotel is located in downtown Palm Springs on the edge of all the shopping centers! Right now the streets are all decorated with Christmas lights and it guides itself to their newest member in town, The Rowan! The Rowan opened just about a month ago and had their grand opening last weekend. I was fortunate to be one of the first bloggers to visit, so everything was super new and the excitement was real. I hope that this blog helps you to find yourself at The Rowan in the new year!
We arrived on Friday night around 11pm, and although it was pretty late all of their staff greeted us with such warm welcome, even my pup Kygo got 2 treats right when he got there! I can explain SO much more about how awesome the staff here was at The Rowan. From their front desk to bars, and restaurants it was phenomenal.
Here are some photos of their lobby. You guys, I fell in LOVE with their interior design and I was SO inspired by everything and anything that had to do with this first floor!! Also a fun fact is at all Kimpton’s hotels, you can find these lovely bikes where you can rent it out and ride around the neighborhood- a great way to get to know the place you are staying at!!
The room I stayed in was the King Spa. This room includes 1 king sized bed with a bathtub as well! Here are other options you can choose from that comes with a bathtub!:

In all of their rooms you will have access to in-room dining, minibar with Gourmet Local Treats, in-room yoga mats, bathrobes, and so much more. THIS was amazing- so in the bathroom they will give you a list of things you may have forgotten- like toothbrush, toothpaste, hair dryer and even a HUMIDIFIER!! you can rent and purchase few items from the front desk. Seriously Kimpton, you have definitely gone above and beyond with these detailed features! ❤
BRUNCH @ JUNIPER TABLE:
Before we go on with more of what The Rowan provides, here was our quick visit to one of the restaurants, JUNIPER TABLE. Juniper Table is located on the first floor of The Rowan and not only the hotel guests, but all community is welcome to stop by. They have a wonderful patio outside where you can enjoy your meal with some sun! For brunch I was able to enjoy few dishes:
One thing you do NOT want to miss out on is their freshly squeezed orange juice! Sometimes it’s better to stay off of caffeine and give some fresh fruit a chance for the weekend. It also goes so well with their brunch menu! *All menu items are available for hotel guests for in-room service!*

LET’S WORK OUT!!
Let’s talk about their gym. The Rowan provides a fitness center with yoga mats, towels, and clean gym equipments where you can enjoy working out with natural lighting! I definitely had to do some of my workouts after eating so much from brunch!
ROOF TOP FUN
After working out I headed up to the rooftop to get some sun and relax by their heated pool. Yes, it is late December and I was able to go swimming!! Looking at the mountain views, chillin by the pool with my pup with some drinks from the High Bar, what more can I ask for?
As I have mentioned, The Rowan has a rooftop bar called High Bar. Here are few specialty drinks they they are known for (from left to right): A Post Signature, juice*, Lily Or Two, and Frozen Aperol Spritz (YES! it is an alcohol slush!!).
If you haven’t heard, Kimpton’s drinks have culinary twist. There is a famous drink that Rowan was known for, which I will be sharing it with you guys in the next paragraphs below from 4 Saints. You can find more about Kimpton’s Cocktail and Culinary Trends here.
Alright, Lets get back to the rooms..!
No need to look for a resting place when your hotel room has everything for you. Definitely needed my naptime to prepare my stomach for dinner time! ❤

My absolute favorite time of the day/night was at 4 Saints. So few months ago before Rowan opened, I had the honor to meet the chefs from 4 Saints at a tasting in Los Angeles. Chef Stephen Wambach is not only welcoming but has an AMAZING skills with what he can do to our tastebuds! At 4 Saints, he makes dishes with American cuisine with French influence come to life and everything he makes here is totally fresh. You can also find Kimpton’s culinary trend in his dishes as well. Here are some dishes I was able to try:

After a full day of exploring The Rowan, I was ready to rest up, and so was my pup, Kygo. Here is a little surprise Kygo came back to – like I mentioned, Kimpton never fails to surprise me with their AMAZING hospitality!

Waking up in the morning in Palm Springs never felt so good. Especially when you have access to in-room dining for breakfast! Here are few things I was able to grab before checking out of my room from Juniper Table!
My stay was more than what I could ask for, and it was so hard to leave..! Palm Springs definitely was gifted something amazing this year and with 2018 drawing by, this hotel is ready to rock the new year!
