To celebrate Summer of 2018, The Block LA is hosting few rooftop movie sesh for us! I was so happy to find out about this because who doesn’t want to watch a movie under the summer skies & beautiful DTLA lights? Oh, and can’t forget to mention there are drinks and food provided if you wanted to purchase some to enjoy during the movie.
I attended their opening night to see The Greatest Showman. This one was a special event though- it was a singalong event so if you were a big fan of the movie you definitely missed out on some singing fun.
Second event I attended was for The Princess Bride. A classic with some beer by Ballast Point and pizza by The Urban Oven was just what I needed to cool down in this summer heat. I thought a movie on a rooftop in the middle of July would be a bit too hot but, once the sun went down it was so perfect I was so happy I didn’t miss out on this event! They have live music as well before the movie starts, so make sure to stop by before the sun down to catch everything The Bloc LA has to offer at their Skyline Sound & Cinema!

Event performance @ 7:30p
Film screening @ 8:30p (after sunset)
-These events are 21+ only! (Make sure to bring your ID!)
-No Pets allowed 😦
-No personal chairs & food allowed
-Event will happen rain or shine, if for any cancellation you will get your refund or exchange for another movie night 🙂
-$10 self park, $17 valet parking!
